FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: protector for protection of power cable in the well includes the housing, socket and slot for arrangement of power cable, reflectors for interaction with internal channels of production strings. On surfaces of reflectors on one side of power cable there is a threaded hole crossing the socket for power cable; on the opposite side there is another radial threaded hole crossing the capillary tube socket. In threaded holes there installed are retention screws with annular grooves on threaded surfaces with possibility of interacting with the external surface of tubing string at their being screwed.

EFFECT: improving the reliability of the cable attachment during operation.
