FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: protector for protection of power cable in the well includes socket and slot for arrangement of power cable, and reflectors for interaction with internal channel of production string. At that, protector also has sockets for arrangement of current-carrying elements of power cable, process cable and capillary tube on surface of reflectors. Relative to external protector surface there eccentrically made is groove having trapezoidal shape with sharp angles at the bottom, in which there installed is retaining screw and trapezoidal annular sector with the appropriate shape in section with possibility of sliding in the above groove. On opposite sides relative to sockets in protector there made are radial threaded holes and installed are retention screws for interaction with external surface of tubing string. At that, height of protector is more than gap between edges of pipes of production string in the well, which are connected with couplings, and interaction area of protector with connection coupling is equal to or more than surface area of end surface of connection coupling of tubing strings.

EFFECT: improving reliability of protector at operation.
