FIELD: rocket engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed nozzle of liquid-propellant rocket engine contains supersonic cooled funnel and non-cooled sectional nozzle head made of composite material and joint unit between sections containing ring step on larger section and thrust surface on smaller section. Minimum diameter of ring step of larger section exceeds maximum diameter of smaller section. Spacing member is installed between ring step of larger section and thrust surface of smaller section. Ring bead is made on smaller diameter surface of larger section. Side surface of bead interacts with mating surface made at cut of smaller section.
EFFECT: improved adaptability of process of assembling of nozzle sections with possibility of fitting nozzles sections at any moment of cycle of manufacture of stage of rocket booster.
