DEVICE FOR PREVENTING TABLE OF SHOCK BENCH AGAINST REPEATABLE SHOCKS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2251088 C2

FIELD: testing engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises housing secured to the table of the shock testing bench and provided with axial cylindrical opening for the guide, along which the device moves. The cylindrical opening goes into conical one, the cone angle being less than the friction angle between the ball and the surfaces of the guide and cone. The wall of the pressing bushing interposed between the guide and opening inside the housing of the device has top opening and a set of bottom through openings, the diameter of which is less than that of the ball. The balls are arranged in the space defined by conical surface and partially enter bottom openings in the pressing bushing. The locator of the position of the bushing is provided with housing, which has two openings at a right angle to each other. One of the openings receives rod, which is provided with face projection, spring-loaded outward from the guide, and can move horizontally. The other opening receives the upward spring-loaded inertia member, which can move parallel to the guide and lock the rod to provide the projection of the rod to be in coincidence with the top opening in the pressing bushing. In so doing, the pressing bushing fails to move along the opening in the housing of the device and allows the ball to be in a contact only with the conical surface of the opening in the housing, in spite of the pressing ring permanently tends to bring the balls into a contact with the guide.

EFFECT: improved serviceability of the bench.
