FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device has mobile bushing mounted in casing having support member having contact surface located 7-10 mm far from free rod body fall axis. It has angular deviation gauge for measuring deviation from vertical mounted horizontally on plate arranged in perpendicular to body fall axis and connected to means for producing acoustic or light reminder signal via microprocessor. Wrong measuring tonometer position is indicated by switching on the reminder signal when detecting specified axis deviation from vertical axis by 2-6°. Wrong position is adjusted to working (right) state by doing angular displacement of measuring tonometer casing with support member position being fixed.
EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy and accelerated measurement procedure.
