FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for collecting and transmitting data from electricity meters as well as for transmission of collected data along communication channels to data store center. Device is made in form of block-modular construction and is placed into common unit which is suitable for point-to-point wiring. The unit has case 1 provided with protective light-transparent cap 2 and separate cap 3 of cross section. There are terminals 4 under cap 3 which terminals are used for connecting outer circuits by means of cables and drives through cable clutches 5. Additional input elements 5 are disposed at the bottom part of case 1. Connectors of interfaces 7 (RS 485) and 8 (RS 232) are disposed onto input elements. Measuring unit 9 made in form of independent functional unit is mounted inside case 1, in its front part. Measuring unit 9 is fixed by means of turning arm 10. Arm 10 provides rotation of unit 9 for 120°С around axis of turning arm to let access for repair and provides widening of operational capabilities of the device as well.
EFFECT: widened access to removable modules.
