System for collecting data from energy metering devices includes energy resources metering devices, a data collection and transmission panel to a dispatcher server over the Internet, at least one floor splitter, wherein the first floor splitter is connected via a power line and an RS-485 interface line with a data collection and transmission board by a cable, and each subsequent floor splitter is connected to the previous one through a shielded patch cord with an RJ-45 connector, the energy resources metering devices are connected to the floor splitters through RJ-45 connectors.
