SUBSTANCE: liquid-heating vessel has thick-film heater made, essentially, of flat metal backing 8, electric insulating layer 6 disposed on mentioned backing 8, and resistive heating track 2 on mentioned insulating layer. Vessel also has means for minimizing tensile strain of insulating layer 6 in the course of operation of mentioned heater, for instance by ensuring variable distribution of power density of heating track 2 on heater surface. As one of alternatives power density can be distributed so that it is higher in peripheral area 2a, 2b of heater than at least in its region 2e, 2f, average in radial direction.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of heater.
