FIELD: purification and decontamination of water.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of purification and decontamination of water (potable, waste, industrial, etc.) and may be used at the industrial enterprises, medical, special establishments and in household activities. The method of water purification consists in action of an electric current and a permanent electric field on a volume of a treated liquid and on a gas layer located above it. At that a permanent electric field is created at a pulse character of density change of the current and in the result produce an ozone-hydroxyl mixture, which then is transported to the treated liquid. The transportation time of the indicated mixture should be less than the time of achievement of a stationary concentration of radicals. Then conduct mixing of the ozone-hydroxyl mixture with a treated liquid and saturation of the formed mixture by air in a volume ratio of air / liquid = 1/1. The device for implementation of the method consists of a reactor, an jet pump and a mixer supplied with connecting branch-pipes. The technical result is an increase of efficiency of water purification.
EFFECT: the invention ensures increased efficiency of water purification.
