Abstract RU 2251658 C2

FIELD: automotive industry; diagnostic devices; wheel alignment outfits.

SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel alignment gauge contains working member and measuring element. Working member can rotate around its axle, and measuring element secured on working member can come in contact with check points on surfaces under checking and can move along working member. Working member is made up of similar symmetrical parts and is installed on clamp connected with centering cones. Gauge is fastened by means of centering cones engaging with centering holes of axle-shafts or hubs of wheels. Gauge can be furnished with adapters with central conical holes designed for fitting on wheel, disks, when used on automobiles whose wheels have no centering holes.

EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of gauge, improved accuracy of checking of wheel camber angle and toe-in.
