FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises vessel filled with a fluid to be investigated, float submerged into the fluid, measuring converter connected with the float, and recording device. The top face of the float is provided with a mirror. The measuring converter has a TV camera provided with point light sources which are spaced at equal distances and face the fluid and float together with the TV camera.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of measuring.
