FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.

SUBSTANCE: impactor comprises lid, base, settling section provided with openings in the bottom and accumulating plates, and outlet filter. The settling sections are made of sleeves and provided with the inner projections and dismountable plates with recesses which form a sorting slot after assembling. The plates are secured to the outer side of the bottom, with overlapping the openings. The accumulating plates are mounted on the inner projections parallel to the bottom with a spaced relation for free flow of aerosol from one section to the other.
