RADIOACTIVE AEROSOLS DISPERSE COMPOSITION PARAMETERS DETERMINING METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N15/02

Abstract RU 2676557 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the entering into the human body with inhaled air radioactive aerosols dispersion analysis methods. Method comprises the contained in the analyzed gas stream aerosol particles separation into size fractions by the gas stream pumping through the single-stage inertial separator at various flow rates, the aerosol particles deposition on the filter, deposited on the filter aerosol particles alpha activity measurement for each selected size fraction for equal periods of time, the measurement results processing and the radioactive aerosols dispersion composition parameters determination based on the processed measurement results, aerosol particles separation into at least four size fractions by successive step-by-step changes in the gas stream flow rate pumped through the single-stage inertial separator, at each gas flow rate fixed value, which number is at least four, aerosol particles are deposited on the filter located in the detection chamber, into which the gas stream is supplied from the single-stage inertial separator output, deposited on the filter aerosol particles alpha activity measurement using the spectrometer, which detector is installed in the detection chamber, for separated at fixed gas flow rates size fractions, establishing the alpha activity measured values dependence on the aerosol particles size by the alpha activity values successive comparison at each measurement step with the activity value at the previous measurement step at the gas flow rate previous value, based on the obtained dependence, determining the radioactive aerosol dispersion composition parameters.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of the alpha-active radionuclides containing radioactive aerosols dispersion composition parameters operational control directly at the sampling site.
