FIELD: investigating characteristics of particles.
SUBSTANCE: cascade impactor has housing and cascade members mounted in the sampling device. The nozzle of the first cascade member is made of the top part of the housing provided with a connecting pipe. The collector of the first cascade member is made of the nozzle plate of the second cascade member. Each subsequent cascade member is made of a nozzle plate, collector plate whose surface is provided with the viscous matter, and spacing ring. The last cascade member is made of a filter.
EFFECT: reduced sizes and cost.
