FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises affecting the well and reference fluid by supplying AC high-frequency voltage of a given frequency to the plates of a measuring capacitive sensor submerged into the well fluid and reference capacitor set in the space isolated from the well fluid. The reference capacitor is calibrated so that its capacity correspond to the equivalent of waterless oil. During measuring, the dielectric permittivity of the well fluid and reference fluid are compared, and the results of the comparison are used for determining the concentration of oil in the well fluid. The frequency is chosen to provide the maximum absorption of sound in the well fluid in the range of 1-10 MHz.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measuring.
