FIELD: systems for tracking moving objects.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used in industrial application optical systems, radar systems, systems for tracking space objects, systems for controlling of landing of flying vehicles. Method is based upon determining angular coordinate of object's image together with elements which change image inside field of view and subsequent re-calculating of achieved value to bring it in accordance with stabilized system of coordinates. After it the value and the direction of linear speed of object are determined within stabilized system of coordinates as well as value of angular shift within stabilized pattern plane taking linear shifts of elements relative own system of coordinate into account. Angular coordinate of object's image is corrected together with elements which distort the image by value of angular shift within stabilized system of coordinates. Electro-optical device has electro-optical direction finder connected in series with measuring/stabilized coordinate system converter. Object linear speed measuring unit of electro-optical device is connected in series with angular shift forming unit and adder. Second input of adder is connected with output of measuring-stabilized coordinate system converter.
EFFECT: improved precision of measuring.
