FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: system for tracking mobile objects in space mainly with an oscillating base can be used in air traffic control. The result is achieved due to that, the tracking system has functionally connected location and optoelectronic position finders, logic mode generators, two switches, two devices for converting coordinates from a non-stabilised to a stabilised coordinate system, a homing and stabilisation device, where the location and optoelectronic position finders are mechanically connected to each other and are kinematically connected to the output shaft of the homing and stabilisation device. The system also has two correctors, a first adder, television automatic device and a scale amplifier, connected to each other in a defined way.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and stability of tracking mobile objects using an automatic system in steady and transient modes due to prevention of rapid change of position and velocity when switching the structure of the tracking system from location to optical and back.
