FIELD: fusion reactor design.
SUBSTANCE: proposed breeding region is assembled of sectors each provided with top and bottom supporting plates and has lithium-containing ceramic in the form of ceramic-filled tube, beryllium region in the form of beryllium fill between tubes, and header for pumping carrier gas through mentioned regions. Each supporting plate is, essentially, header used for pumping carrier gas through lithium-containing ceramic and header for pumping through beryllium region. Plate has internal channels disposed through its length and provided with branch ducts alternately disposed through plate width. Branch ducts have outlets to plate surface contacting the sectors and made in the form of holes at inlet and outlet ends of branch ducts that communicate with respective pumping regions. Headers with branch tubes are not disposed in breeding region because supporting plates function as pumping headers.
EFFECT: improved sealing, facilitated assembly of system, ability of disposing tube joints on external end of module base plate.
