FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device to monitor breed tritium comprises a cylindrical container with end plugs made of low-activated material, in which capsules with neutron-physical detectors and capsules with tritium-reproducing material are arranged with alternation to each other. Capsules are made of low-activated material and are closed with covers from low-activated material. Capsules with neutron-physical detectors are placed inside capsules with tritium-reproducing material. A cover for each capsule, apart from the last capsule with a neutron-physical detector, is the bottom of the next capsule. The cover for the specified last capsule is an end plug of the container.
EFFECT: reduced disturbance of neutron flow with a device for monitoring in a zone of tritium reproduction due to reduced volume of a device and quantity of structural material used in it.
