FIELD: welding production, possibly welding up craters in important metallic constructions.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of welding up crater in carbon dioxide atmosphere at fixed electric arc; determining intensity of electric current, voltage of electric arc and time period of welding up at allowance ±5% according to given expressions:
where - crater volume determined according to relation - respectively intensity of welding current, A; arc voltage, V; time period for welding up crater, s; del, lel - diameter and extension of electrode wire, cm; Iwl, Vwl - intensity of welding current, A; welding speed, cm/s; X1 = 1.32, X2=-0.64, X3 = 0.38, X4= 0.37, X5= 2.69, ξ = 0.616, Kart = 3.65 V/W, p = 0.6; η, λ, T - respectively efficiency value of process for heating article by means of welding arc, heat conductivity factor, Wt/(cm/K), melting temperature of welded metal, °C; L -length of welding bath, cm. In variant of invention current intensity and voltage of arc are kept equal to their values at welding process and time period of welding up is calculated at allowance ±5%.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded constructions due to elimination of flaws occurred in seam crater at welding up process.
