FIELD: welding production, possibly manufacture of welded constructions.

SUBSTANCE: method is realized at predetermined values of intensity of welding electric current, arc voltage, welding speed, diameter and extension of electrode wire. Method comprises steps of preliminarily measuring resistance of electrode wire extension; then calculating intensity of welding current, arc voltage and welding speed with accuracy degree 5% for each parameter according to given relations where Iw, Vw, Uarc, d - respectively intensity of welding current, A, welding speed, m/h, arc voltage, V, diameter of electrode, cm; R=Rm·(1+αT·T1) - resistance of extension of electrode wire, Ohm; Rm - measured resistance of extension, Ohm; αT - temperature factor of resistance, °C-1; T1 - mean temperature of extension at welding, °C ; γ - density of welded metal, kg/cm3 ; K1=(Uad+ϕ)/Hmd, Uad - anode voltage drop, V; ϕ - electron outlet work, V; Hmd - enthalpy of metal drop, J/kg; K3 = 3.65 V/A; K4 = 0.37; K5 = 0; ϕ = Lwb/es - experimentally determined shape factor of welding bath; Lwb - length of welding bath, m; es - width of seam, m; e - natural logarithm base; α, λ , T - respectively coefficient of temperature conductance, m3/s; heat conductance, Wt/(m x °C); melting temperature of welded metal, °C.

EFFECT: improved quality of welded joints.
