FIELD: railway transport; antislipping devices.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, at beginning of wheel slipping air is delivered into rail-wheel contact area at velocity and temperature excluding slipping. Proposed device contains front and rear travel nozzles arranged in pairs at each wheel to supply heated compressed air to wheel-rail contact zone. Temperature of air from +375 to +430°C.
EFFECT: reduced wear of wheel and rails, service expenses, increased adhesive interaction in zone of rail-wheel contact.
