FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: in the device for lubricating and modifier of friction on rails system of pressure feeding the lubricant and the modifier of friction has pressure regulators of compressed air of the lubricant reservoir and friction modifier and control unit of this pressure regulator. Air-pressure line from the source of compressed air is put through the pressure regulator of compressed air in the cavity of the lubricant reservoir and friction modifier. Pressure regulator of compressed air is connected with the control unit of the pressure regulator, which in turn is connected with the evaluator of the speed of motion of transport for optimal automatic regulator of the amount of lubricant and friction regulator, supplied to the nozzle depending on the speed of movement of the vehicle. Nozzles are fixed on a horizontal plank of the stand mounted rigidly on the case of the traction gear box before the pair of wheels of the end axes of rail vehicles.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the device and reduction of friction and wear and tear between wheels of the pair of wheels and the rails.
