FIELD: electronic industry, producing of photorecording electron-beam devises and full-sized displays with field-emission cathode.
SUBSTANCE: claimed luminophor of general formula (Y2-m-nGdmCen)(SiO5)1-p(TiO5)p, wherein m = 0.001-0.5; n = 0.0005-0.05; p = 0.001-0.01 is obtained by dissolving of Y2O3 in boiling HNO3 and addition of Ce(NO3).6H2O. After full dissolution pH is adjusted to 2.5-3 and oxalates are deposited with oxalic acid. Precipitate is filtered, baked at 600°C for 2 h, mixed with flour silicic acid and titanium dioxide and baked at 1300°C for 1 h. Baked luminophor is crushed and screened. Luminophor of present invention has trichromatic coordinates of x = 0.15-0.18; y = 0.11-0.14; light efficiency η = (4.2-6.91)Lm/W; ratio η/y = 35.0-49.36.
EFFECT: luminophors for electronic industry with improved characteristics.
