FIELD: ophthalmology; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lens glasses have two systems consisting of lens and eye-piece, both disposed in two tubes correspondingly, device for automatic adjustment of focal length of lens by means of control and adjustment unit which has lens positioning mechanism and eye-piece and is connected with unit for automatic matching of angle between optical axes of glasses having corresponding focal length to provide passage of optical axes of glasses through optical centers of user's eyes at any position of tubes. Control and adjustment unit has device for changing magnification factor and provides calculation of required angle between optical axes at active working distance, position of lenses in eye-pieces and lenses and device for inspecting lens and eye-piece positioning mechanism. Device for changing magnification factor is connected with foot switch. Change in magnification factor is performed smoothly. Device for automatic adjustment of focal length of lens is made for selection of switching on or off. Glasses are provided additionally with aid for changing focal length and magnification factor upon getting voice command from user. Glasses are also provided with measuring scale matched with corresponding magnification factor. The scale illuminates in focal plane for precised measurement of sizes of object.
