FIELD: cathode-ray tubes incorporating decoupling capacitors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cathode-ray tube has electron gun, cathode, and capacitor; the latter incorporates conducting tube coated with insulating material and conducting material layer disposed on central part of tube. This configuration has typical low inductance and constant distributed capacitance. Capacitor can be used as decoupling capacitor for induction-output tube amplifier to reduce stray capacitance and to afford leakage of high-frequency radiation in single amplifier disposed inside annular input cavity and bounded by its inner wall.
EFFECT: reduced inductance of decoupling capacitor.
