FIELD: computer-based systems for electrical energy quality check.
SUBSTANCE: root-mean-square current and voltage are found by set of their digital values during each half-cycle of variation in fundamental harmonic component. Comparison of actual RMS values of current and voltage with their rated values enables detection of critical reduction in these values and fact of current and voltage dips is stated upon evaluating actual front of such reduction. In case current and voltage dips go beyond specified values, signal is generated and supplied to correcting devices designed to reduce amount and duration of current and voltage dips.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
