SUBSTANCE: the helicopter radar with a synthesized aperture on the basis of rotatable antennas, the antennas for radiation and reception of radar pulses are positioned at the end of each arm rotating with the lifting rotor and connected to the radar containing at least a transmitting device, electronic unit with a central control unit and a video processor, as well as a display, signal transmitter 12 is installed on lifting rotor 40, which produces signals characterizing the angular position of the lifting rotor 40 at its rotation, transmitted to electronic unit 8 of radar 7 and subjected to processing in it, as a result, synchronization of the angle of viewing of antennas 10 with the position of the inertia axis is provided, the produced signals are transmitted to central control unit 81, which generates the control signals with the aid of which the repetition rate of the pulses radiated by transmitting device 9 is synchronized with the rotational speed of lifting rotor 40 for precise synchronization of the quantity of radar pulses radiated per revolution with the actual rotational speed of the lifting rotor.
EFFECT: provided survey of the image formed on the screen of the radar display to the selected inertia axis of the helicopter, and limited influence of the change of the rotational speed of the lifting rotor on the process of image formation.
