FIELD: surface polishing, possibly polishing surfaces painted beforehand.

SUBSTANCE: elastically compressed polisher of foamed plastics with two mutually opposite working surfaces is used. Each of said surfaces has large number of recesses in the form of hollow truncated cones divided by means of truncated cones and arranged at mutual intervals. All upper faces of truncated cones are arranged in the same plane and they form working surface. Polisher is held in contact with supporting cushion. First working surface of polisher protrudes from supporting cushion and its second working surface engages with cushion by means of unit designed for keeping one surface of polisher in contact with cushion with possibility of releasing.

EFFECT: enhanced flexibility of using, enlarged manufacturing possibilities of polishing system.
