HELICOPTER FUSELAGE WITH RAMP-DOOR Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: aviation; designing helicopters.

SUBSTANCE: helicopter has panel of load-bearing floor with hinged ramp-door whose outer side corresponds to outside outlines of fuselage at doorway and inner side is provided with steps secured on it. Panel of load-bearing floor has opening where base of ramp-door is placed thus forming step together with floor increasing height of doorway in open position; hinges securing the ramp-door are mounted on fuselage outside. Ramp-door is connected with fuselage by means of cables used as handholds.

EFFECT: ease in embarkation and disembarkation of passengers.
