FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft entrance stairs, moveable downwards beyond the contour of the fuselage (1), comprises a mechanism for moving a ladder with stair-steps. The ladder is formed of two sections (16, 18) and at least a part of the movement mechanism comprises two worm gear with intersecting and mutually perpendicular axes and the worm gear wheel (3). The worm gear wheel (3) is rigidly fastened to the axis of one worm gear, disposed on the first section (16) of the ladder. The mentioned worm gear engages with a tooth wheel which is kinematically connected to the second section (18) of the ladder and conjugated with another worm, the axis of which is aligned with the first section pivot axis (16).
EFFECT: invention extends functionality and improves performance.
