FIELD: mechanical engineering; designing of internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed machine has housing, cylinders, pistons with connected rods. Connecting rods are made split in lower part to pass shaft when pistons are in BTC. Connecting rods arranged near each other are connected in pairs with double-arm rockers with supports for mounting on housing. Rocker shafts intersect axis of rotation of shaft, being square to plane of cylinder axes. Rockers are provided with cutouts to pass shaft when pistons are in TDC. Moreover, each rocker is provided with turning mechanism equipped with roller tappets for interaction with support surfaces of disk secured with tilting on shaft in point equidistant from cylinder axes. Angle of tilting of axis of disk symmetry to axis of shaft rotation is equal to half of angle of rocker turning at one stroke of piston. Each disk following relative to main shaft is installed with turn around axis of shaft relative to preceding disk through angle of 180° in four-cylinder machine, 120° in six-cylinder machine and 90° in eight-cylinder machine.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced friction and vibrations.
