FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for converting rotary motion of control motor into translational motion of output shaft. Actuating mechanism contains housing 5, drive shaft connected with wave shaper 3, flexible wheel, rigid wheel made in form of two output members 7, and 8, support device in form of balls located in guide grooves of housing 5 and output member. Output members 7 and 8 are made in form of flat plates with end face wavy surface orthogonal to axis of rotation of engine. Wave shaper 3 of end face type can be roller, or plunger or electromagnetic one. Flexible wheel is made in form of fixed cage 4 in axial holes of which balls 6 are uniformly spaced over circumference.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of mechanism owing to provision of movement of output member square to axis of rotation of motor, increased load capacity, rigidity, reduced inertia of rotating parts.
