FIELD: general engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of conversion of speed of rotation without use of gear wheels. It can be used in drives of machines and mechanism. Proposed ball drive contains two central disks 1 and 2 with floating plate 9 freely on eccentric 6 placed in between. Holes 10 and 11 are made on surfaces of disks 1 and 2 pointed to floating plate 9 in which balls 12 and 13 are fitted with clearance providing free rotation of balls. Closed periodical raceways 14 and 15 are made on both end faces of floating plate 9 which interact with holes 10 and 11 by means of two chains of balls 12 and 13.
EFFECT: decreased unbalance, improved manufacturability of drive.
