FIELD: shaped explosive charges, in particular, composition of matter designed for use as a facing for a shaped charge, and method for manufacture of the facing for the shaped charge in that case when the shaped charge is used for perforation of oil wells.
SUBSTANCE: four modifications of the shaped-charge facing are offered, the facing contains a mix of powder of heavy metal and a powdered metal binder and molded to the shape of the facing by injection molding and sintering. A shaped charge having such a facing and the method for production of the facing is claimed.
EFFECT: produced shaped-charge facing with a uniform, high density and various configurations.
