FIELD: food engineering, in particular, equipment for obtaining of macaroni products.
SUBSTANCE: macaroni press has feeding hopper, pressing chamber, screw and profiling member with forming channels. Profiling member with forming channels defined by sleeves of porous material is composed of three round plates with axially aligned apertures conforming to profile of products to be obtained. Sleeves of porous material are fixed in said apertures. Apertures in middle plate have greater diameter and are adapted for forming air pockets connected with one another through channels for supplying of pressurized air. Pressing chamber has groove arranged at site where profiling member is positioned, said groove being adapted for supplying and uniform distribution of pressurized air along the entire perimeter of profiling member.
EFFECT: improved quality of ready product and increased efficiency of macaroni press.
