METHOD FOR CIRCULAR DERMABRASION OF SINGLE NORMO-ATROPHIC SCARS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: one should perform dermabrasion in 3 stages: at the 1^st stage one should polish skin surface around scars without removal of epidermis in scars and the rest operational surface, about 3-5 min after lifting the surface of the whole scars area due to internal pressure at different rigidity of skin surface with removed and intact epidermis it is necessary to perform the 2^nd stage: one should polish the surface of scars skin only, dermabrasion of operation surface should be finished at the 3d stage. Each stage should be ended by providing hemostasis and skin protection with Butol antiseptic remedy in the form of applications by applying gauze napkins and, also, due to treating operational surface with the above-mentioned preparation out of a needle-free syringe, moreover, one should not perform simultaneous treatment with Butol and any alcohol- and metal-containing solutions. The innovation enables to prevent the damage of considerable number of capillaries along the border of normo-atrophic scars.

EFFECT: more accelerated wound healing process.
