FIELD: processes and equipment for continuous casting of metal, namely designs of roller sections for guiding ingot at outlet of mold.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes supporting housing in the form of mutually joined at least four box like cross section frames arranged along path of ingot passing. On inner flanges of said four frames turned to ingot path are mounted in bearing assemblies on chocks having inlet openings for lubricant: guiding rollers, manifold for supplying lubricant, lubricant feeders communicated through tube circuits with inlet opening for lubricant in chocks. Each of four frames has outer detachable walls. Roller section is provided at least with four tubular struts. Each strut is arranged in inner cavity of one of frames and it provides successive communication of lubricant feeders coupled through tube circuits with openings of inner flanges of frames and matched with inlet openings for lubricant in chocks. Each strut is separately connected with manifolds for supplying lubricant arranged in plane normal relative to strut and embracing path of ingot passing.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of cast metal due to reliable lubrication of bearing assemblies of guiding rollers and prevention of their arresting, elimination of damage of feeders and tube circuits, lowered operational costs, improved capability for restoration.
