FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: roller has inner central opening and it is mounted in stationary chocks on bearing assemblies. Sealing ring is arranged in body of roller; said ring is forced to end of roller by means of elastic member, pivot and thrust bearing assembly. Pivot is in the form of dead-bottom beaded sleeve and it is mounted in body with possibility of fixation against turning over. Thrust bearing assembly includes spherical surface concentric to central drilled opening of roller. Thrust bearing assembly is mounted on outer surface of pivot. Elastic member is arranged between bead of pivot and thrust bearing assembly. Flange having two cylindrical hollow portions is arranged between end of roller and sealing ring. Flange is mounted with possibility of fixation against turning over in inner drilled opening of roller. Pivot is arranged on flange. End wall of inner cavity of body is in the form of spherical surface and it is matched with spherical surface of thrust bearing assembly with possibility of mutual rotation in range of admissible angle of misalignment of inner race of supporting bearing assembly relative to its outer race.
EFFECT: elimination of harmful influence of distortion of lengthwise axis of rotary roller.
