FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: pressing-based method of treating plastics, in particular high-compounded thermoplastic compositions, comprises impregnation of filler within press mold with thermoplastic polymer melt. Treatment is accomplished by flowing of melt through the all layer of filler provided with reinforcement elements and/or thermal elements followed by draining of excess melt through holes in lower part of press mold.
EFFECT: improved quality of products due to homogeneity and compounding of products; reduced power consumption.
