FIELD: metallurgy; processing of bauxites.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to processing of bauxites at a temperature from above 235°С. The method of high-temperature leaching of bauxites provides for a separate heating of a recycle solution and bauxite fine pulp, mixture of the heated streams of the recycle solution and the bauxite fine pulp in a vulcanizer, a high-temperature leaching procedure. At that the heating of the recycle solution is conducted using a vapor of self-evaporation up to the reactionary temperature. A heating of the bauxite fine pulp before mixture of streams is conducted up to the temperatures of 150-160°С. After the streams mixing the fine pulps is additionally heated up to the reactionary temperature. A recycle solution is partially evaporated at the heating by the vapor of the self-evaporation of the fine pulp. The secondary vapor formed during the heating and evaporation of the recycle solution is used for evaporation of the weak alkali solutions formed in the production cycle. The invention allows to prevent sedimentation of the titanous scale on the heating surfaces and to save consumption of heat in production of aluminum oxide.
EFFECT: the invention allows to prevent sedimentation of the titanous scale on the heating surfaces and to save consumption of heat in production of aluminum oxide.
