FIELD: military invention.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the means of camouflage used in military actions, in particular, to a method and a device for formation of smoke screens with the help of aerosols. The method of production of an aerosol realization of an oxidation reaction of the initial components of the aerosol-forming composition, a dispersion of the oxidized components and their blowout into the aerosphere due to energy of oxidation. In the capacity of the initial components of the aerosol-forming composition use the activated aluminum powder and water, which are placed in separate containers and fed through the intermediate suspension making module into a reactor for realization of an oxidation reaction of aluminum by water at a concentration of aluminum in the suspension equal to 5-60 mass %, and a dispersion of the oxidation products is conducted by adjustment of a degree of the oxidation reaction process, for the purpose the oxidation of aluminum is carried out not completely and until reaching the reactor pressure of 295-300 atm and after that they make a blowout of the aerosol into an aerosphere. The generator for production of an aerosol includes a container for the aerosol-forming composition, which represents the reactor connected by a high-lift pump with the suspension module, having the inlet openings for delivery in it of the activated aluminum powder and water feeding, and supplied with an outlet branch pipe for blowout of the aerosol into the aerosphere. The invention ensures a setting of a smoke screen in the mode of a continuous action without an adverse effect on personnel.
