SUBSTANCE: invention is related to aerosol (smoke) screen formation by dispersion of solid substance particles into environment. Aerosol screens are used for active resistance to optoelectronic reconnaissance and weapon control facilities operating within electromagnetic wave length. Aerosol-forming compound of graphite powder is described here with specific external surface being within 26500-33500 cm2/g range and mass size distribution of particles being within mas.%: 72% - 81% of particles with d=5-14 mcm, 15% - 20% of particles with d=2.5-5 mcm, 2% - 8% of particles with d=1.0-2.5 mcm, particles with diameter more than 14 mcm or less than 1.0 mcm are the rest of particles.

EFFECT: high masking capability; compound is simple and manufacturable.
