FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as drive of oil well pumps or as battery chargers. Proposed wind plant consists of mast, base turning relative to vertical axis of mast under action of wind, sail taking wind flow, and mechanisms to turn sail relative to horizontal and vertical axes. Each said turning mechanism is mechanically connected with working member of plant by means of levers and tie-rod hinge-connected with base and with each other for instance, by cable. Mounting of hinge joint of disk with tie-rod after imaginary straight line connecting vertical axis of sail and cable makes it possible to set all mechanical system to thrust with minimum power losses and bring it out of said state and easily sail through 90°. Wind plant is furnished with mechanism to bring sail out of extreme positions.
EFFECT: simplified design of wind plant and preventing undesirable and nonadjustable vibrations of plant blades.
