SUBSTANCE: the contact fuse includes a body, projecting spring-loaded reaction striker with a firing pin, safety mechanism and a beam-type detonating primer located in the detonator, a pricking-type detonating primer is installed between the firing pin and the beam-type detonating primer, and the projecting part of the reaction striker is made in the form of a spring-loaded pusher, made on the end-face surface of the cylindrical part is a cross-shaped shoulder having the shape of an isosceles trapezoid with definite relations in the mutually perpendicular longitudinal sections.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of target hitting and enhanced reliability of fuse action at an impact of the small-caliber artillery fragmentation shell or fragmentation warhead of a cluster ammunition with obstacles of various strength at various angles of impact of the ammunition with the obstacle, ricochet angles of impact inclusive.
