FIELD: apparatus in which liquid or other fluent material is applied on the surface of the work by contact with a member carrying the liquid or other fluent material, particularly in packing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device has glue spraying unit provided with ejector for glue spraying connected with sealing means. Sealing means is moved towards ejector and in reverse direction between the first position in which sealing means closes the ejector and in which pad fixedly secured to one end thereof is brought into contact with the ejector and the second position in which ejector is opened. Dosing unit connected to feeding means comprises ball member for measuring and applying liquid substance during closing means movement between opened and closed positions in contact with the ball member. When closing means moves between closed and opened positions applying means covers pad with liquid substance which prevents adhesion thereof.

EFFECT: provision of continuous operator's control over material application.
