FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile system for coating application system (versions) and method of application of coating on electric insulator. Claimed system comprises long cargo container to be carried to working site and multiple stations arranged inside said container. Said stations comprises insulator loading station, insulator coating station including robot-controlled elastomer coating applicator, hardening station arranged downstream of coating applicator to harden elastomer coating and coated insulator unloading station. Said system comprises also a closed conveyor to carry said insulator through said multiple stations. Said endless conveyor is shaped to elongated circle.
EFFECT: higher quality of coatings, mobile operation under whatever industrial conditions.
