FIELD: materials handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and transportation machinery used in industry and agriculture for transportation of loose and wet materials and liquids. Proposed screw pipe includes guide surface made of strip coiled along helical line in longitudinal and cross directions. Guide surface is bent along straight lines at angle to strip edges to form similar parallelograms located on strip alternately in opposite sides relative to each other. Strip is turned to form cylindrical coils interconnected along longitudinal edges to form unidirectional helical lines and screw surfaces in form of triangular-shape pockets along outer and inner surfaces.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, enlarged operating capabilities.
