FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: rotating oven consists of cylinder case resting on support rollers via bands, of double drive of two electric engines and two reducers, of two under-crown gears, of one crown wheel, of feeding tube for supply of loose material, of head for supply of fuel and air into oven, of chain filter-heater, of heat exchangers, and of fire bar-shearing cooler. The oven is also equipped with an installation for water cooling and with central lubricating system. The case is mounted horizontally and is fabricated out of at least one strip bent along straight lines arranged at angle to edges of the strip forming similar parallelograms located on the strip alternately into opposite sides. Also, the strip is rolled into cylinder coils interconnected along lengthwise edges forming unidirectional broken screw lines along perimetre and similar broken screw pockets of triangular shape along external and internal surfaces of the case.

EFFECT: expanded process functionality, increased intensity of heat exchange and simplified operation of rotating oven.
