FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing the commercial calcium chloride solution being mainly from waste of the primary processing bischofite, in particular, from diluted solutions of CaCl2 formed in processing. Method for concentrating calcium chloride solutions formed in the primary processing bischofite involves isothermal absorption of hydrogen chloride with calcium chloride solution with the concentration 10-20 wt.-% at 10-15°C up to the concentration of hydrogen chloride 22-25 wt.-%, the following addition of limestone for interaction with hydrochloric acid presenting in the solution to be treated up to the concentration of calcium chloride in solution corresponding to 32-35 wt.-%, and separation of formed precipitate of hydroxides. Invention provides preparing the commercial technical calcium chloride solution corresponding to the All-Union State Standard 450-77.
